Our monthly meetings are fun and packed with interesting and useful information for YOU, the software user. Members may bring their laptop computers with wi-fi wireless networking to meetings.

Directions

The New Horizons Training Facility is located at 8200 I-10 West, Suite 500 (5th floor), San Antonio, Texas, 78230 (See Mapquest Map)  From IH 10 West Exit Medical/Callaghan. Take the turnaround and remain on the access road. The New Horizons building is located on the right side pass Benihana. Turn right on Mid-Horizon Boulevard the parking garage is located on the right side. From IH 10 East exit Medical/Callaghan. Remain on the access road. The New Horizons building is located on the right side pass Benihana . Turn right on Mid – Horizon Boulevard the parking garage is located on the right side. Parking for New Horizons students is provided in the parking garage or on the parking area under the trees.

  • When you arrive at New Horizons, you may park in the garage if you enter via the entrance off of Mid Horizon Dr.
  • To enter the building, please enter using the walkway between the garage and the building (2nd Floor).
  • If you park outside the garage, walk into the garage and get to the 2nd floor walkway
  • Once inside, go down the hallway to the elevators and proceed to the fifth floor
  • We will be inside the glass doors in one of the classrooms. There should be a sign posted on the glass doors or just inside in the welcome area

Door Prizes are Great!

You could win some really cool stuff just by showing up. We raffle books, software, discounts and other things donated by our sponsors. Twice a year (June and December) we raffle the super prize package from Adobe, a certificate good for any of their software up to $2,100.

Raffle Ticket Rules

Your odds of winning are directly related to how many raffle tickets you've acquired prior to the drawing. This is the formula used to determine how many tickets you are issued and how you may win a prize. These rules were developed democratically by meeting attendees, and may change over time, as agreed upon by members.

Tickets are awarded before meeting begins. Prizes are won by raffle ticket drawing at the end of each meeting. Your chances of winning are determined directly by the number of tickets you've got in the box. Tickets are good for the year they were awarded only. The box is emptied of all tickets at the end of every year.

Special Interim Meeting:AAMUG Website Volunteers

For purposes of developing our own AAMUG website, we are looking for volunteers who want to take an active role in developing and maintaining our website. Interested members contact to find out where and when this special meeting will be held. Good intentions are welcome, but we are seeking only participants who "know how to deliver".
